The Elon Men's Club Lacrosse team has grown and developed over the past 20+ years into one of the most competitive teams on Elon's campus.
The Club plays 5-6 games during an informal fall season. In the spring, the Club competes in the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) at the Division 2 level. The Club has been the SELC Division 2 Champion and participated in the MCLA National Tournament 3 of the past 5 years (2008, 2010, 2012).
The Club has more than 50 active members representing 18 different states. Members of the club are regularly recognized at the regional and national level. During the 2012 SELC tournament, Andy Fargnoli ('13) and Michael Meglio ('13) were respectively chosen as the Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Players. Colin Madden ('12) was selected as a MCLA 2nd Team All-American and a MCLA Academic All-American.
The players organize a fundraiser each year for the Autism Society of North Carolina Society called "Face Off for Autism". Working with other groups on campus, the men raise thousands of dollars in support of a great cause.
